This collection, "MATERIA," features a return to two materials that I have not used in recent years - oil paint and silverpoint drawing. As each medium brings its own challenges, it also brings new potential and rewards. These "new" media (for me at this current stage in my work) are both traditional, thereby bringing also a century-old connection to figurative art of the past.
