About the Bare Form exhibit and the figure in art, the Monongalia Arts Center offers:
The beauty of the body has inspired artists from the dawn of history yet remains an inextricable part of the human experience. Our intimate familiarity with the human body bears the challenge to the artist…transforming that which is known into an expression of emotion.
My work was recently featured in Issue 7 of The Point Magazine, a Chicago-based print journal publishing rigorous but
accessible essays on contemporary life and culture. Thanks to Claire and the others at The Point Magazine for making my work a part of their recent issue.
